Kopi Luwak — Cat Shit Coffee

I drank Kopi Luwak today. It is, hands down, the best coffee I’ve ever had. In case you don’t click links, what makes the Kopi Luwak special is that it was basically eaten and … passed … by a Asian Palm Civet cat (Paradoxus hermaphroditus.) A friend of mine from work bought it from Animalcoffee.com.

Problem is, now normal coffee tastes like shit. Pun intended.

New Theme

I’m trying out a new theme, complete with a new masthead graphic! Like the old graphic, this one was made using Blender. The full version of it (if you’re interested) is here.

Got Mac OS X Leopard. I’m enjoying this more than the upgrade to Tiger, actually, and I didn’t think I would.

One thing important thing to note, is it works wonderfully on my 933MHz G4 iBook. Lets see Vista run on 4 year old computers.

Introducing Ava Grace Leblond

Hey guys! At 7:42 pm on July 5th, me and Di became parents! Ava was born 7 lbs 6 oz, and 20.5 inches long. She put up a fight, 42 weeks in the womb, 10 hours labor, and then finishing off with a C-section. But she’s out, and everyone is doing fine. I’ll post more pictures when I get the time, but for now here she is!

Ava at 40 weeks, 5 days

Ava is still snugly in her mother’s uterus. We had an ultrasound today. She’s fine, definitely a girl, and has a full head of hair! Also, if she’s not out by July 5th they’re inducing! So I’ll be a dad next week!
