Today I got an email saying that they are going back on that decision because their customers told them that they would miss the feature.

I just thought I’d post this somewhere public: Netflix, you kick ass.

Why ban touching? Well apparently the principal is worried that someone will see someone giving someone else a high five and think “well if HE is giving a high five, why can’t I punch someone in the face?” No, really… the guy is that stupid. Here’s a quote:

Just in time for Cinco De Mayo, cases of authentic Mexican Coca Cola have been spotted at Costco. They’re able to sell it since they’ve conformed to the US and California’s regulations, such as labeling the CRV (the recycling deposit) and nutrition facts.

Coke, however, is not amused.

“[The non-Coca-Cola distributors are] trespassing on the territory rights of many U.S. bottlers,” said Coke spokesman Martin. “Bringing it into the country is not illegal. But what it does do from the Coca-Cola standpoint is it violates contractual rights that we have with our bottlers. And it has potential trademark right infringements as well.”

I’ve got an idea… how about making ALL Coke using sugar… since that is apparently what the customer wants! Of course, Coke has a history of not doing what the customer wants.

As with most shootings, Jack Thompson and friends (this time in the form of Dr. Phil) stepped forward and said basically that the kid was driven to do this because he played violent video games. Of course.

So who’s getting sued this time? Well lets peruse the search warrant to see which games he was playing to prepare for his little blood bath. Lets see… digital camera, books, Dremel tool…. where are the video games? Well hell, he didn’t have any!

Thats right, he didn’t have any video games in his possession. So there you have it, one of the most horrific shootings in history, NO link to video games.

I think we need to focus on what is causing all this violence in our country, and stop looking for people to sue.

The deaths and injuries were caused by stray bullets, sharpened kite-strings, electrocution and people falling off rooftops yesterday at the conclusion of the two-day Basant festival, said Ruqia Bano, spokeswoman for emergency service in the city of Lahore.

Wait wait, sharpened kite-strings??

Kite flyers often use strings made of wire or coated with ground glass to try to cross and cut a rival’s string or damage the other kite, often after betting on the outcome.

Oh that makes sense. Here I thought Charlie Brown was starting to freak. “Stupid kite-eating tree!”
