Cool links of the day
July 3rd, 2006 Posted in Neat web links, TechnologyHa! That makes it sound like I post links every day. Anyway, enjoy!
Grotrian Piano is a little flash program where you can play tunes by throwing little squares around. At first it sounds/looks pretty pointless, but look at the ready-made tunes they have it it (the slider underneath the 2nd color swatch picker.) Take that slider and point it to “Grotrian”… its pretty impressive.
Pandora (aka The Music Genome Project) is another of those “create a radio station based on your tastes” services. The difference? This one will create a radio station based off of a single song! And it does a pretty damn good job of it too. Give it a shot, its free (there is also a paid version that is ad-free but who cares.) Also if you have a Mac, there’s a widget available.
Finally, this is old news, but here is a funny clip of someone trying to cancel AOL.

I see I get no props for showing you Pandora. I know where you sleep.
