AIMBots - The Popups that Follow You Around
November 16th, 2005 Posted in Rants, TechnologyI turned on Trillian at work this morning only to get a message from AOL that they have graciously added 2 AIMBots to my buddy list so that I can get movie times and shopping tips. Great. So AOL finally found a way to annoy me without me having to use their shitty AIM client.
Fortunately, AOL claims that if you delete them they’ll just go away. Here’s hoping!
