Dental Sealants

October 19th, 2005 Posted in Personal News, Rants

I got sealents put in when I was a kid. From the above Wikipedia link “When correctly applied, dental sealants are nearly 100% effective in preventing dental cavities on treated teeth.” (spelling fixed)

That information isn’t 100% correct. It should read:

“When correctly applied, dental sealants are nearly 100% effective in delaying the growth of dental cavities on treated teeth so that, by the time they need to be filled, the patient is paying for his/her own dental visits.”

i found a crazy, almost sci-fi solution to all this crap.

    :P

Actually sealents go on the top of your teeth, so flossing won’t really work. My dentist tells me that I had sealents put on because of some developmental thingy with my teeth.

Huh the google ad below this comment says “Baby Dental Wipes Prevent Decay”… come again?
